ZORANLLER ESTEVEZ Owner Operator Zoranller Estevez was born in the Dominican Republic on December 28, 1987. She earned an associate’s degree in business administration in 2015. In 2012, she married Maicon Mateo, and together they have three children: Emma, Michael, and Xavier Mateo. Her career in the supermarket industry began at the age of 17 when she worked as a cashier at Asso- ciated Supermarket (229 Knickerbocker Ave.). She later became the assistant bookkeeper at the same location, where she worked for six years under the A&E Group. In 2011, Zoranller joined her father, Ramón Estevez, as his partner and store operator after he purchased Compare Supermarket at 655 Stanley Ave. Their business expanded in 2018 when he acquired Pioneer Supermarket at 925 Crescent St., where she also played a key role. Following her father’s passing in June 2023, Zoranller has continued managing the administrative op- erations of the supermarkets and their commercial property, honoring his legacy and ensuring the continued success of their family business.
