LIZBEL DIAZ Owner Operator Born on April 12, 1975, Lizbel Diaz is a dedicated entrepreneur, community leader, and proud mother of five. Originally from Queens, NY, she has built a remarkable career in business while balancing her role as a mother with resilience and passion. As a mother of five three adult sons (27, 21, and 20) and two younger daughters (14 and 8), Lizbel has navigated both personal and professional life with unwavering determination. Lizbel earned her degree in Business Administration Accounting from Berkeley College in 1999, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to excel in business management and financial operations. Her entrepreneurial journey began in 1990 when she started working alongside her father on 104th Street & Columbus Ave in New York. A year later, in 1991, she played a key role in opening a second store on 100th Street & Columbus Ave, which successfully operated until 2001. Expanding the family business, Lizbel helped open a third store on 28th Ave & Steinway St in Astoria, NY. Continuing her entrepreneurial drive, she took a bold step and opened the fourth store in Danbury, CT, which she continues to operate to this day. In 2013, she further expanded into Norwalk, CT, where she successfully ran a fifth store until 2023. Beyond her business endeavors, Lizbel is deeply committed to community service. She has been a Board Member at Dream Come True of Western CT since 2012, dedicating her time to making dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses. Additionally, she serves as a Board Member of Rancheros Unidos and is an active Board Member of the NSA New England Chapter, where she contributes her expertise and leadership to support and uplift others. With decades of experience, a strong work ethic, and an unshakable commitment to growth, Lizbel’s journey is far from over the best is yet to come!
