For over 20 years, Veronica Rosario has been more than a TV News Producer—she has been a force for truth, representation, and change in the nation’s #1 media market. With an unwavering commitment to impactful storytelling, Veronica uses the power of journalism to amplify voices, uncover truths, and inspire communities. Her experience allows her to handle complex, high-stakes topics with depth and compassion. The daughter of Dominican Immigrants who came to New York City in the 1960’s, she’s a 1st generation college graduate who has paved the way for other Latinas both on-air and behind the scenes in the news- room. As a Producer for New York’s Very Own PIX11 Morning News, Veronica has built a career amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups and shedding light on the events that shape our world. At PIX11 Morning News she leads the production of live segments, special reports, and promotional initiatives highlighting community-driven stories which include reports on immigration, social justice, and public health includ- ing: Maternal Mortality, Teen Suicide and the COVID-19 pandemic and their effect on marginalized communities, using journalism as a tool for empowerment. She crafts segments that bring together political lead- ers, cultural icons, and everyday changemakers ensuring that those often left unheard have a place in the national conversation. Veronica has played a pivotal role in the evolution of PIX11 Morning News, leading expansion and rebranding efforts while implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives. Through her work and cross-depart- mental collaborations she has elevated brand engagement and audi- ence reach, ensuring that news is not just reported—it resonates. She has spearheaded high-profile televised events, including: • The First-Ever LIVE BROADCAST by an English-speaking network of The National Dominican Day Parade & West Indian American Day Parade – Breaking barriers in mainstream media representation and celebrating the vibrancy of NYC’s multicultural communities. • Hurricane Maria: A Prime-Time Special – Traveling to Puerto Rico to document resilience in the face of devastation, crafting a powerful nar- rative of survival and hope. • On the Frontlines of Breaking News: Reported from Lower Manhattan after 9/11, delivering critical coverage in a time of national crisis. January 6th Riots at the Capitol navigating the chaos of a pivotal mo- ment in U.S. electoral history. President Barack Obama’s Historic 2008 Election & Inauguration, cap- turing the spirit of change. Beyond the Newsroom: Born in Brooklyn, USA, but a citizen of the world, Veronica’s passion extends beyond television. A graduate of the prestigious Newhouse School at Syracuse University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Television, Radio & Film, she has dedicated herself to mentorship, youth empowerment, and global hu- manitarian work. • Leadership in Service: Volunteer: Keep Rising To The Top (KR3TS) – Supporting young artists in El Barrio through dance and performance.
