As the Chair of the Women’s Summit Committee at the National Supermarket Association, it brings me immense plea- sure to extend a warm welcome to all of you as we embark on the month-long cel- ebration of Women’s History Month.
March stands as a testament to the indomitable spirit, unwavering resilience, and unparalleled achievements of women throughout history. It is a time not only to reflect on the remarkable contributions of women across all facets of society but also to honor their legacies and pave the way for future generations of leaders.
This year, our Women’s Summit is poised to be a beacon of inspiration, empower- ment, and collaboration. We have curated a series of events, discussions, and ini- tiatives that highlight the diverse voices, experiences, and expertise of women within the supermarket industry and beyond.
From panel discussions featuring promi- nent female leaders to workshops focused on skill-building and professional develop- ment, there will be ample opportunities for networking, learning, and growth.
At the heart of our celebration lies the recognition of the pivotal role that women play in shaping the landscape of our industry.
From executives and entrepreneurs to frontline workers and community leaders, women continue to drive innovation, fos- ter inclusivity, and champion change.
As we come together to commemorate Women’s History Month, let us reaffirm our commitment to gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in every aspect of our work and beyond.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and dedication to advancing the cause of women in our industry. Together, we can create a more equitable, inclusive, and prosperous future for all.
Once again, welcome to Women’s History Month at the National Supermarket Asso- ciation. May this month be a source of inspiration, empowerment, and celebra- tion for us all.
Warm regards,
Anthony Peña
