Odalys Molina is the co-anchor of the morning newscast “Noticiero Telemundo Nueva York Primera Edición” and station’s entertainment news magazine show, “Acceso Total.”
A native Cuban, Molina joined WNJU in 1991 as an intern for the station’s news operations before being hired as a general assignment reporter. She held several positions of increasing responsibility within the newsroom. Her skills led her to develop her own entertainment and fashion segment.
While at WNJU, Molina has served as anchor to diverse local morning shows and assists as reporter and correspondent for the news magazine program “Al Rojo Vivo,” airing nationally on the Telemundo Network.
In 2000, Molina received recognition by the New York governor at the time, George E Pataki for her reports on what affected the Hispanic community in the tri-state area.
Emmy nominated Molina has won four ACE (Asociación de Cronistas de Entretenimiento) Awards, the latest in 2012 for best presenter for the program “Acceso Total” and has been honored by the Cuban Day Parade of New York and the Hispanic Day Parade of New York. Recently she served as Grand Marshall for the MS Walk, New York Chapter.
Molina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Spanish from Montclair State University in New Jersey.
