On October 9, 2024, we proudly hosted the NSA Educational Program at our headquarters. This intensive, full-day professional development event was specifically designed to equip NSA members with valuable insights and practical knowledge to enhance their businesses. The program brought together a range of industry experts, legal professionals, and government agencies, covering key topics for supermarket owners and operators, including: • Navigating Labor Law •Small Business Support from Government Agencies •How to Purchase a Supermarket •Safety and Security Workshop •Marketing a Product •Minority and Women-Owned Business Certification Process (presented by the New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce) We were honored to have distinguished speakers such as Marlene Cintron, Regional Administrator of the Small Business Administration, and Mahedi Hasan, Assistant Director of Small Business Services, share their expertise with us.
