It is with great pleasure that I extend greetings to all who have gathered for the National Supermarket Association’s 28th Annual Gala Dinner event. Founded in 1989, the NSA, led by bold and innovative Hispanic entrepreneurs brought fresh foods and quality services to neighborhoods where larger chains were nowhere to be found.
Today, the NSA is at the forefront of providing healthy and affordable food options to communities around the country. As Public Advocate for the City of New York, I would like to thank the NSA and its dedicated members and staff for their invaluable support to our communities. I hope everyone has a wonderful evening and may you enjoy continued success in all of your endeavors.
