Dear Friends:
I am delighted to welcome everyone to the National Supermarket Association’s Gala.
Founded in 1989, the NSA is a trade association that represents the interests of independent supermarket owners in New York City and in underserved neighborhoods throughout the United States. Over the past two and a half decades, the NSA has grown significantly; today its membership represents approximately 400 supermarkets, and it has left a lasting mark on the industry. By empowering Latino entrepreneurs and ensuring vulnerable communities can access a variety of healthy and affordable foods, it is helping to build a more just and equitable tomorrow. As my administration uses every tool at our disposal to do the same,
I applaud its efforts.
